Watershed Development Program:

Watershed Development Programme implementing as PIA in four district namely Palamu, Godda,Ramgarh and Jamtara under DRDA.

Livelihood promotion through managing Natural Resources is the core activity of the Society. To fulfill this NRMDA has been implementing 14,000 Hectare of Watershed Development Program based on DPAP Watershed in association with several DRDAs of Jharkhand.  The Watershed approach helps us in integrated planning for conservation and development of land and water resources on the sustained basis in accordance with their nature, problems, potential and with the least amount of interference in the surrounding areas. The Watershed is considered to be the ideal unit for managing the Natural Resources like land, water and vegetation on one hand and maintenance of executed work and to evaluate their impact on the others.
